PotterCast#51_Interview with Neville Longbottom

In this PotterCast which has won the most downloaded file, Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom) gives us informations more than welcomed about the set of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

First of all, this movie will be huge, just as the book is. Impressed by the weight of Michael Goldenberg’s script, Matthew Lewis has also been surprised by how much it respected JK’s book. And we must believe he hasn’t been the only one as Daniel Radcliffe declared he will play in the Half Blood Prince only if the script gives justice to the book.

In this interview, Matthew talks about the new director, David Yates who has a perfect vivid image of how to turn this movie, he also has really brilliant ideas on how the characters should react. This keep speechless the crew who know their play since 6 years now… his suggestions are just perfect.

What more can we say about Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) and Imelda Staunton (Dolores Unbridge)? As the director is, their are just perfect : one is lovable and a little crazy, the other is slightly mental and always thinking about on how to kill you lol.

Finally, Matthew reveals us a bit of the changes of his character. At the beginning of the film, he is like we left him : brilliant in Herbology, but that’s all. But he changes rapidly during the film which develop a bit more than the book his personality. It has been a new work for Matthew but a definitely welcomed one.

Thx Matt !
